An Answer in the Stars -- Meteion Inspired Face and Body Cream

An emulsified formula with a cloud-like, almost jellied texture in the jar and a dry, silky skin feel.

Ingredient callouts:

• Isoamyl Laurate: A plant-based ester (ECOCERT approved) with silicone-like properties and an extremely silky "dry touch" skin feel, which is part of why this cream can be comfortably used on the face!
• Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6: A polymer that contributes thickening and stabilization to emulsions. In this formulation, it works with cetyl alcohol to increase viscosity. It also combines with the isoamyl laurate to create an almost fluffy texture that's vaguely reminiscent of a shower jelly (in the jar only; it spreads beautifully on the skin).
• Seaweed Extract: Seaweed extract is carried in caprylic/capric triglycerides, also known as medium chain triglycerides, which is usually a modified coconut oil. Seaweed extract is great for sensitive skin (and so is the carrier oil)!
